Lanckorona is one such place, still pristine and unspoiled by the rush of great architecture, art, and culture. A small town nestled in the Małopolska region, it's difficult to get to, and perhaps because of this, it has retained its unique atmosphere.
The City of Angels, as Lanckorona is commonly known, is a true oasis of peace. The local atmosphere is defined by the wooden architecture beautifully integrated into the picturesque landscape.
Situated on the southern slope of Lanckorońska Mountain, on the border of the Beskid Makowski Mountains and the Wieliczka Foothills, the town is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding mountain ranges. From here, it's also easy to explore the Calvary Trail, Wadowice, and Krakow. Above all, however, you must savor the local culture, strolling through its narrow streets and enjoying the silence, nature, and beauty nestled within this small space.
